Kyle Hurwitz

Kyle Hurwitz is serving in a United States Air Force Foreign Policy Fellowship at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.  During his Fellowship, Kyle is studying U.S and Turkish Foreign Relations.  Prior to the start of his fellowship, Kyle served as Chief, Plans and Exercises, Special Operations Command Pacific at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.  Previously, he was the Director of Logistics Readiness for the 820th Security Forces Group, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia.  He has a broad background of experience in joint and special operations.  He holds a Master Parachutist Rating and is Air Assault qualified.  He has deployed in support of OIF, OEF and OJF, including serving as a Deputy Squadron Commander in OEF.  Kyle holds an undergraduate degree in journalism from Eastern Illinois University and a graduate degree in public administration from the University of Oklahoma.
