Charles Dolgas

Director of Publications and Administration

Charles Dolgas is Director of Publications and Administration at the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy.

Mr. Dolgas began working at the Institute in June 1982. He has held numerous staff positions since then: Administrative Officer, and Executive Assistant I and II. In 1991, Mr. Dolgas was promoted to Director of Programs and Administration.

He is responsible for three principal program activities: overall direction of ISD public affairs [endowed lectures, conferences, and project grants with foundation, corporate and government agencies], the publication program, and the Institute's budget and administration.

After graduation from St. Vincent College, Latrobe, PA in 1977, Mr. Dolgas worked as a Research Assistant for three years at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Primary areas of responsibility included research on all the major issues of Southeast Asian countries and their relationship to the United States, and domestic and international energy problems.
