The Junior Fellows program provides selected SFS and MSFS students two semesters of independent study on a diplomatic negotiation under the direction of an ISD associate. The associates provide research guidance and assistance in arranging interviews with principal negotiators.
The fellowships: integrate academic coursework and diplomatic process under the direction of a practitioner; develop a broader understanding of the complexities in formulating and implementing foreign policy; help provide a negotiating record that may prove useful to future practitioners; and engage students in writing an academic paper in International Affairs.
Each fellowship offers academic credits and a tuition stipend.
Application information will be provided at the start of the spring semester.

Origin, Developments and Prospects for the Proliferation Security Initiative
The ISD junior fellowship program has been one of the most enjoyable and worthwhile learning experiences I have had coming to the MSFS program: the ability to "chart one’s own course" really lets the students get involved and enthusiastic about their subject.
