Joseph Federici is a second year student in the Georgetown MSFS program, concentrating in global politics and security. During the spring 2015 semester, Mr. Federici served as an intern to the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and as a research assistant to Mr. Mark Landler of The New York Times. During the summer of 2015, Mr. Federici served as an intern to the U.S. Department of State with the Office of Pakistan Affairs. Mr. Federici currently is a teaching assistant to Professor and former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Prior to coming to Georgetown, Mr. Federici worked as General Counsel to the American University of Afghanistan in Kabul, Afghanistan. He is currently the co-chair to the American Bar Association's Section of International Law - International Human Rights Committee. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
