Natalia Leigh is a second year graduate student in the School of Foreign Service Global Human Development Program. She arrived at Georgetown in fall 2014 from War Child, where she coordinated the NGO's programs across the Central African Republic, DRC and Uganda. Natalia graduated with a B.A. in History and French from the University of Warwick before going on to work for Save the Children for five years. During this time, she worked in the UK, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and India, largely as a programme funding adviser. Natalia has worked across multiple sectors, including education, livelihoods, health and child protection. Her research interests whilst at Georgetown lie particularly in education, governance and the delivery of public services. She spent the summer of 2015 seconded to the Ministry of Education in Liberia. Natalia is British and fluent in French. She joined the GHD programme as the Carol Lancaster Scholar.
