Alex Rued is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Alex received her Bachelor of Arts in government with a minor in Chinese from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. Alex is a Master of Arts candidate in the Asian Studies Program at Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. During her time at Georgetown, Alex has focused on the politics and security of Asia and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of Asian Affairs. Alex is a current Harold L. Rosenthal Fellow in International Relations and spent the summer of 2015 working as the Program Coordinator and Research Assistant with the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
