On Thursday, October 16th, from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm in ICC 302-P, ISD will host an information session to introduce this spring’s capstones and directors. This will be an opportunity to hear firsthand from our course directors and to ask questions about their focus and the capstone registration process. We will also circulate descriptions of each capstone for your reference.
A bit on the process: After this event, we will ask you to submit a capstone application no later than Thursday, October 23rd. This application requires you to rank your first and second choices and provide a rationale for each. In case of over subscription to any one capstone, priority will be given to earlier bidders, so get your bids in early.
Ambassador Bodine will collate the bids and inform each of you which capstone you have been placed in no later than October 30th. ISD will also work directly with the Registrar’s Office to pre-register you in that capstone.
Any space available in each capstone will be opened at the time of general graduate school registration.
Please remember that successful completion of the capstone is required to receive the certificate. The only exception is those who have been selected as student research fellows.
Location: ICC 302-P (conference room near Asia Studies)
Should you have any questions about the event or wish to join via Zoom, please reach out to Miranda Brown (mj878@georgetown.edu). This event will be recorded and posted on the ISD website.
