Fiona Gallagher is a senior in the School of Foreign Service, majoring in International Politics with a concentration in International Security and a certificate in Diplomatic Studies, originally from Rockville, MD. While at Georgetown, she interned with Cambridge Global Advisors and the Department of State/EducationUSA Russia. On campus, Fiona is the Managing Director of the GU Politics Podcast The Fly, and a member of the Georgetown Triathlon Club. Her ISD project will examine the extent to which international sports governing bodies are helping or hindering the advancement and achievement of gender-focused initiatives through sports diplomacy.
