Research topic: Investigating the Impact of Financial Bailout Packages on Pakistan’s Diplomatic and Political Discourse.
Ali Shahbaz is an undergraduate student in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, majoring in International Politics with a concentration in Security and a minor in French. His research aims to create a blueprint to interpret the dilemmas states encounter when grappling between questions of political action and financial policy. He has worked at J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank in New York and the World Bank in Washington D.C. Ali is a writer and his work has been published in Forbes, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and Newsday among others.
