Heemin Yang is an MSFS candidate concentrating in global politics and security. He graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University. Prior to joining the MSFS program, Heemin served in the 31 Airborne Infantry Battalion in the Republic of Korea Marine Corps where he monitored the inter-Korean border and applied his communication skills to facilitate large-scale ROK-US combined military exercises. Following his military service, he led a rescue team in Southeast Asia as a field manager of an international NGO, helping North Korean defectors reach freedom. Heemin speaks Korean, English, and Mandarin Chinese.
