Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Barbee

Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Barbee is an Aviation Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves with over 17 years of
experience in aviation operations, logistics, and leadership. He most recently served as Executive Officer for
the 244th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade at Fort Knox, Kentucky. His previous assignments include Inspector General for the 200th Military Police Command, advising the Commanding General on readiness issues and conducting investigations across 125 units in 34 states, and Aviation Planner and Counter Terrorism Case Program Manager for U.S. Army Africa, where he managed a $330 million portfolio and coordinated military engagements with African partner nations. He also served as Aviation Battalion Operations Officer (S3) for the 5-159 General Support Aviation Battalion, Command Aviation Company Commander for A3 Company 2-238 GSAB, and Medical Evacuation Detachment Officer in Charge. Earlier in his career, he served as Deputy G4 for the 11th Aviation Command and deployed to Kosovo as Battalion S4, Airfield Manager, and Civil Affairs Officer for Task Force Griffin. Lieutenant Colonel Barbee is a graduate of the U.S. Army Aviation Officer Flight School and completed the Aviation Captain Career Course at Fort Rucker, Alabama.
