Lindsey Schmidt is a Master of Arts candidate in the Arab Studies program where she focuses on Islamist movements and militant organizations in Iraq, Syria and Yemen. She has travelled to Egypt, Morocco and Oman and previously interned at the Department of State and National Defense University.
