Louise Stenfors Virenfeldt is a graduate student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service program, concentrating in Global Politics and Security. Her research at the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy explores the viability of humanitarian safe zones in the context of the Syrian crisis, drawing on historical and contemporary case studies such as the Central African Republic and South Sudan. Louise Stenfors Virenfeldt holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Cambridge and has worked and traveled extensively in the Middle East.
