Major Jarred Prier
U.S. Air Force Foreign Policy Adviser Fellow, Non-Resident Associate
Major Prier is an aircraft strike planner assigned to Plans and Integration, Joint Functional Component Command for Global Strike, United States Strategic Command, Offutt AFB Neb. He is responsible for the development of strategic plans for bombers and tankers, as well as coordinating force structure and weapon allocation. Major Prier received his commission through AFROTC from the University of Missouri. Following commissioning, he served as a Missile Warning Operations Crew Commander at the 7th Space Warning Squadron, Beale Air Force Base, Calif. He then completed Combat Systems Officer and Electronic Warfare Training at Randolph AFB, Texas as a Distinguished Graduate. Following B-52H qualification training, he proceeded to Minot AFB where served as a long range scheduler, unit deployment manager, instructor, evaluator, flight commander, and Wing Weapons Officer.
He is a graduate of the USAF Weapons School. Major Prier has flown a variety of missions, including the first-ever B-52 supporting Joint Inter-Agency Task Force South. Additionally, he has deployed three times to support the PACAF Continuous Bomber Presence at Andersen AFB, Guam, and deployed as the wing executive officer for the 376 Air Expeditionary Wing supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
