Major John-Paul Adrian
Air Force Non-resident Fellow
Major Adrian was most recently the Commander of the 4th Security Forces Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. In this position, he commanded 230 Air Force personnel, providing integrated base defense for aircraft valued at $5.2 billion, and was charged with air provost services, installation security, resource protection, and antiterrorism programs for a base population of 12,500 personnel. Major Adrian’s assignments are a mix of operational, training, and staff tours with the Air Force, Joint Services, and Allied Partners; serving as an advisor to the Pakistani military, Director of Operations for combined policing operations in Germany, and Joint Defense Force Commander. Major Adrian holds a bachelor’s degree in theology from the University of Notre Dame, a master’s degree in management from American Military University, and is a recipient of the Arthur S. Flemming Award from The George Washington University.
