Major Rodney Fangmann

Major Rodney Fangmann previously served as the Airfield Operations Flight Commander at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. In this position, Rodney was responsible for a 169 member flight at the DoD's most complex airfield & Air Traffic Control facilities which support the United States Air Force Weapons School, United States Air Force Aerial Demonstration Team, operational test and evaluation units, as well RED and GREEN FLAG exercises facilitating approximately 343,000 aircraft operations annually. Major Fangmann has served as the Airfield Operations Flight Commander at numerous bases both stateside and abroad. Prior to his commission, Maj Fangmann enlisted in the Air Force in June 1998 and received technical training as an Arabic Cryptologic Linguist. As an EC-130 Mission Crew Supervisor he deployed five times in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM and IRAQI FREEDOM. Major Fangmann has a bachelor’s degree from Excelsior College in Liberal Studies.
