DACOR Graduate Fellowship
The Diplomatic and Consular Officers, Retired (DACOR) Bacon House Foundation will offer one fellowship to a graduate student in the School of Foreign Service to cover the tuition costs for academic year 2025-26 up to $10,000. This is a tuition-only fellowship, and recipients must be U.S. citizens. More information can be found here.
Georgetown will nominate three candidates based on merit. The DACOR Education Committee will then interview the nominees and select one winner. The fellowship program is funded from various restricted bequests as well as individual members’ contributions.
Applications should be submitted to: diplomacy@georgetown.edu. Please make sure that “DACOR Fellowship” appears on the subject line. Your application should include: 1) a résumé/CV; 2) a transcript of ALL your academic records; and 3) an essay of ~600 words expanding on the information provided in the résumé. In discussing your qualifications, you should address special academic or other accomplishments, work experience, experience related to foreign affairs, and career objectives.
