Undergraduate Certificate in Diplomatic Studies
The Undergraduate Certificate in Diplomatic Studies sets you apart as you prepare for careers in foreign service, international organizations, NGOs or the private sector. Our interdisciplinary program teaches you how diplomacy works—from bilateral negotiations to multilateral forums—and prepares you to work effectively across agencies, borders and cultures.
You’ll explore the history and theory of diplomacy while developing practical skills in negotiation, conflict resolution and strategic communication. Our faculty includes former ambassadors, senior State Department officials, military officers and international policy experts who bring decades of field experience into the classroom.
