Institute for the Study of Diplomacy (ISD) publications hub brings together research, analysis and commentary drawn from across our programs, including case studies, working group outputs and podcast resources. A single destination for the full breadth of ISD’s intellectual output.

One of ISD’s principal goals is to produce publications on the practice of diplomacy that reflect the experience of diplomatic practitioners and the breadth of knowledge across Georgetown University’s academic community. Over the years, this guiding principle has taken many forms: books published either by the institute or leading academic presses; reports and papers based on research conducted by staff, associates or ISD’s working groups, and the case studies library.
